About this deal

And here we are, the ultimate Leo card. I truly don’t think I’m an egotist, but I sometimes have a feeling that I’m special or different. (I’ve been reading The Pattern, an astro app that doesn’t tell you which astro thing they’re talking about, but I’m sure that section is this, Mars in Leo.) I haven’t engaged with this very much, I’m more interested to understand what Venus and Mars conjunct means, and three planets in Leo! I can learn it by being confident in my abilities, optimistic that I kind of know what I’m talking about! For the Sun in Sagittarius ‘Enthusiasm’ pictured above, the card image description reads, “A bright intelligent head haloed by the sun sits at the top of a traditional alchemical jar. Within a jar, a figure floats among the stars, sun and moon.” The Jupiter in Aries ‘Enterprise’ artwork also pictured above is described, “The hand diagram of the chiromancers shows the complete set of planetary qualities. Jupiter’s nature in palmistry is to denote the achievement of enterprise and ambition, where full use is made of all talents available. The acorns are simply the seeds of potential.” As for the cards themselves, as I say they are rich in imagery and symbolism. There are realistic, Victorian-style images both pastoral and urban. There are symbols from Judaism and Islam, as well as Christian imagery. There are elements from Egyptian culture, as well as Greek myths and art. There are some picture-book elements, too, but always within the theme of elements which a Victorian might put on cards. The colours remain fairly pastel throughout, but with a lot of variety. This oracle system boasts seven distinct suits, each representing a crucial planet as it navigates through the astrological zodiac. By exploring the significance of the planets in the twelve astrological houses and zodiac signs, you will gain an in-depth understanding of their meanings and how they apply to your life.

The book is rather comprehensive and not very large, which means the text is very, very small. All cards get two or more paragraphs of text. The second or last paragraph includes the interpretation. Below is the interpretation for the Sun in Aries: The cards themselves are small. They only measure 6.5 x 10 cm which to my mind is slightly smaller than playing card size. That being said, with 84 cards to shuffle, if they were any bigger they have become hard to handle. At this size I find them easy to manage. After login, wordpress sets this cookie, which indicates when you’re logged in, and who you are, for most interface use.The Health card not only represents one’s health but also everyday work. Sun in Virgo rules the sixth house of the Zodiac. (house 6 also rules small animals) The Theme card for female L highlights her physical well-being. It is quite possible she will at some point during the Reading forecast adopt a new health related regime. This card also means that female L may be involved with finely detailed aspects of her job such as more organization, cataloguing or editing content (paperwork). One’s health is affected by one’s every day work. If you are overworked the stress can affect your general health. It affects sleep, nutrition and attitude. Someone else’s health could be a worry. From the book: "This Sun oracle is a unique system based on eighty-four illustrated cards describing the meaning of the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn in the twelve Houses and twelve signs of astrology, and sets out a clear and simple means of remembering and developing the interpretation. As in Horary astrology, the Sun oracle does not use the outer planets Uranus, Neptune and Pluto."

If you selected SCYTHE then there would be some sudden upheavals in health or everyday work. Everyday work can be on the job if it is not a career per say. Here’s Scorpio getting a bad rap again. I need to know and communicate when things are way out of line. This makes me think of politics. Things are just so out there and scary right now. I need to understand and communicate that! Use critical thinking. If it’s too good to be true, it probably is. Use Mercury and Mars: figure it out and act! Week 2: *Extremism* Mercury in Scorpio. The energy of this card is very powerful. Often this card suggests news of a death. There will be some drastic unfoldment which will affect female L very deeply.

This forum is officially closed. It will however remain online and active in a limited form for the time being. Week 4: Egotism. Mars in Leo. This card represents L’ s overall attitude. She will be a bit more assertive than usual. She may have to take the role of leadership. The picture on this card is trippy: A happy gremlin riding lips surrounded by swords and a star caught in a spider web! All I can think of is concentration is ignoring the gremlin to concentrate on the star/idea one has already caught. I’m glad I will gain the potential for concentration. I seem to be losing that recently.

Mercury in Libra: Influence. The coiled serpent's tongue is the astrological sigil for the planet Mercury. It represents smooth talk, guile, persuasion and temptation. In the first relationship, Adam and Eve walk in the garden, unaware of danger. Beneath the roses, thorns."

In the March 2015 spot (far left of layout above the April 2014 card) the Acquisition card Sun in Taurus suggests female L will come into some money or at the very least something of value. This card also shows a minor dispute over possessions. Caroline Smith is an internationally renowned artist whose work features recurring goddess imagery. Together with her late husband, leading astrologer and author John Astrop, she has created a number of powerful divination systems showcasing her symbolic and bold style. I’m also feeling enthusiastic about sharing some info here on the forum, but maybe that’s just a bid to look good! Studying the four weekly cards there is a strong indication a situation will materialize which will test female L. Since the Loss card does suggest the “loss” of someone or some situation which is very close to female L the weekly cards confirm this especially in week 2 of January. The Theme card needs to be factored in when reading these cards as well. There is a strong indication that someone’s health will be of concern. Interesting that two of my gifts are my birth planets. It seems to be saying that their positions are my natural gifts. I just need to recognize them and use them. What would be healing for me is to allow myself enjoyment and a little showing off.
