About this deal

I gave this 4 stars as felt it will have a positive impact on many people and I will also benefit from having read it. I think the way it was stitched together could have been more thoughtful, that way the framework would have helped the information connect better and reinforced the lessons throughout. I like that he explained the how and why we are not confident or are, but not sure I feel any more inspired to be more confident.

They help us to know which pages are the most and least popular and see how visitors move around the site. It prompt you to self- assess your psychology to bed t navigate this fast paced word we find ourselves in.

Carry out the activities by yourself or with family and friends and take your confidence into your own hands! Full of obvious points and James either honestly believes the reader is an absolute idiot or he’s honestly ignorant.

We need confidence to master our true ambitions, realise our genuine strengths, and achieve the life we need, but might not know we want. Anyone who is familiar with him knows his style is hard hitting and transparent, but underneath it all is a lovely polite young man with ambition to share his knowledge and help others. Now, more than ever, we are so often lost within a cycle of negativity – from comparing ourselves to others and doom scrolling on social media, to a paralysis of choice and chasing external gratification that does nothing to nurture authentic happiness. If you're totally insecure and not much of a reader on topics like self-development and psychology, this is a good starting point though. Hearing James Smith put his own spin on topics I’ve heard before, plus some new ones, gave me fresh insights I plan take the path I’m on to the next level with.In this book, Rubin outlines her own resolutions for the year she spent working on her own "happiness project. I think I'm only so nitpicky because I am a supporter of his message and the quality of his work is always so high.

I would say, this has made me feel a lot more confident that if James Smith can do it, I can also do it. In this book, she drew on the finest words in her personal collection to carefully select, from over 300,000 quotes, the most positive and inspiring words. While it’s not a roadmap or checklist of how to be confident, James does a good job of listing out examples from his experience on how to be more confident.

Ok, so, long story short - I’ve never actually read James’ other books but what he says on social media resonates with me so I decided to give this one a shot. What We Love: Rachel Hollis may have started out as a Hollywood party planner, but she switched gears when she founded The Chic Site, an online platform focused on helping women improve their lives in the form of small, actionable steps. Anyways, he did read it well and with many, Many pauses I did listen to the whole thing, so I guess it’s not That bad. It often feels less about How to Be Confident than How to Not Not Be Confident, with the author highlighting the things we do that gradually erode our confidence.
